More Of You

Each time I wake up, I find You there
Lord, it is You who makes me smile
Some days it seems the whole world
Is falling down around me, but yet
You are there all the while.

And somehow, sweet Lord Jesus
I'm still missing You
My heart desires to be so much closer to You
To live the life You created for me to live with You
Sometimes I can see and hear You so perfectly.

But, this old body groans at times as does all creation

The flesh warring against the spirit
Continuous spiritual warfare
All I know right now is I'm missing You.

A little bit of You is never enough
Nor will it ever be, Lord
You stir up this spirit within me
To keep seeking Your face
And that I will do.

I cannot gain more of You
So I wait upon You to pour out
More of Your loving Holy Spirit
O how I long to be blessed with more
And more of You.

Lord, at times life makes no sense
But when I look deeper, I can see You
And I know I've been missing You
As my heart aches and longs for more

Everything Is Gonna Be Alright

As a small child
I was always very fearful
I would cry and make a fuss
Then the day came
I knew what it would take
To make me feel safe
In a fast paced changing world
That waits for no one.

I could hear His voice
But I did not know Him
And yet, I would hear
His voice saying to me,
"Everything is gonna be alright."

I never grew up with religion
No church background
I led a wild and crazy life
With no cares for anything
Then one day my world came
Crashing down all around me
I was alone in this world
And it rushed madly past me.

Sitting in a heap on the floor
I cried out and thinking no one
Is going to hear, and if they do
Why should they care?
A familiar voice spoken in silence
Yet spoken with authority
Again telling me,
"Everything is gonna be alright."

"I AM here for you every day,
And every single night,
Trust ME and walk with ME
And believe ME when I say

Closer To You

Lord, I come before You,
In my darkest hour of need.
You tell me that You love me,
So here I am on my knees.

I feel like You have abandoned me,
For I cannot hear Your voice.
But all You really want from me,
Is for me to make a choice.

You have sent stumbling blocks,
To keep me on the path.
Time and again I stray from You,
And reap the consequence of wrath.

So here I am before You Lord,
I need You now I plead.
Please, O Lord, don't abandon me,
In my time of need.

I now realize Lord,
That You have never left me.
You have been right there beside me,
In my time of need.

I never want to leave You,
I just want to be close to Thee.
Thank You Lord for showing me,
That I am closest to You when I am on my knees.

So Lord please heed my call,
For this is just my plea.
That if I ever stray from You,
Please strike me to my knees.

Jesus Wall Around

So many times I can recall
I would only stand long enough
To once again fall
My heart would cry out
And then again I could see You.

As many times as Satan would attack
Using others, even sisters and brothers
Those poison darts kept hitting me
And again I came crying to You
And found You waiting there.

The more times Satan tried to destroy me
The more I came to You
Those times, the cruel times, I found my place
My greatest need I found
Dwelling in all that is You.

You took Romans 8:28 and made it my life
Cos Your Word is Truth
And never returns to You void
You let me experience at times the worst
So I could know Youthe Best.

I asked my Lord and Saviour
What keeps happening here?
He told me to look around
It was then I could see it
An invisible and impenetrable wall.

He said, "I AM your wall of protection
Abide in Me because if you step outside of My will
You lose the blessing,
Only by abiding in Me
My children are kept safe from all harm."

Your Presence Brings Conviction

I ponder over the thought, Lord
Do you ever tire of listening to me?
I grumble and mumble at times
Then I sense Your presence so near.

I'm convicted of my complaining,
As I ask for Your forgiveness,
You smile and tell me,
All is forgiven.

Thank You Jesus for all that You are,
And for Your presence with me,
Bringing conviction, forgiveness and peace,
And Your unconditional love.

Everything

In everything this world will bring,

but sin, and pain, and strife.
JESUS IS SALVATION.

Do you know how much He loves you?
